In the spirit of reconciliation I Catherine Styles Civil Celebrant acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. I pay my respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. During my Ceremonies I respectfully and lovingly acknowledge that we follow in the footsteps of our First Nations people and that we are gathered on the traditional country of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. It is an honour to witness the wisdom of their living culture which continues today. I recognize that ceremonies of celebration have taken place on this land for many thousands of years, I thank the ancestors for their care of this land and the rich history on which our stories are built.

A bit about me.
Kiwi born, my family and I reside on the beautiful Bass Coast, roughly an hour down the M1 from Melbourne. A spectacular location, we are treated to swimming beaches, rock-pools, giant sand dunes and hiking bush-lands galore, whilst still only a short drive to Melbourne City or local malls for retail therapy. Being so close to the water seems trivial for some but being from New Zealand it is an absolute necessity. There is nothing more awe-inspiring then a sunset over the open water in my opinion. I am a lover of banter. I’m a creative and enjoy all things arts, crafts and DIY. I love trying to tackle home renos, going on adventures seeing new things and meeting new people. I personally think being a Celebrant is the best job in the world. Who doesn’t love dressing up, going to spectacular breath taking locations and Celebrating with a loved up couple on one of the best days of their lives. Is there anything more joyous?

Deluxe Custom Wedding
Personalised Vows and Ceremony with all inclusions. No Guest Limit. P.A system with mic included.
Personal Intimate Wedding
Includes Elopement, Destination Weddings and Festival Weddings. Custom Vows and Ceremony. Limited to 20 Guests.
Short and Sweet Wedding
Simple no fuss Registry Style Wedding with legal vows. The Couple, The Celebrant and Two Witnesses.
Commitment Ceremony
Includes Vow Renewal and Anniversaries. Treated like a Wedding but without the legalities. Certificate presented to couple.
Funerals
Includes Chapel or Graveside Service, Memorial Service or Celebration of Life. I will write and deliver the service including Eulogy (if you wish) written by you or with your help.
Naming Days
A Custom Celebration for your precious bub. May include rituals, readings, songs, blessings and/or poems. Appointment of Godparents or Guardians and ended with a presentation Certificate.
Pet Services
Animal Weddings or Pet Funerals, your fur-babies deserve the best. I can help you create a bespoke ceremony or service designed to Celebrate their life as your beloved companion.

You end up with a ceremony that is specialised for you and a memento of your relationship, what’s important to you and your story so far.
